Dr. Denise Michel, M.D., Psychiatrist

Dr. Michel is a board certified adult psychiatrist. As a psychiatrist, I have been trained to use different modalities such as therapy, medication, and most importantly listening to my clients in order to help them to obtain symptom remission. I take a holistic approach to help you to improve your life and achieve the goals that you have set for yourself. During our initial intake evaluation, I will take the time to understand you and your concerns. Together we will formulate a treatment plan.

I can provide an empathic and supportive environment to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and your diagnosis. We will use this information in order to help facilitate a positive change. I utilize medication management when needed as well as psychotherapy, depending on the needs and preferences of my patients.

I want you to know that you are more than your diagnosis, and we will work together to help you to be the person that God created you to be.

I received my B.S. degree in microbiology from Howard University in Washington, DC and my medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. I completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

I am married and the mother of two teenagers. My oldest son is in college, and my youngest son is in high school. I am originally from South Carolina, but I am now excited to call North Carolina home.

Anna Abraham, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Anna Abraham, A Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Her career spans medical, neurologic, and psychiatric units, with a decade in critical care in the United Kingdom and five years managing inpatient psychiatric patients. She has also served as a Lecturer in psychiatry, inspiring the next generation of nurses. Currently practicing at Advent Health Hospital in Kissimmee, Celebration, East and Orlando Campuses in Florida. Anna provides personalized mental health care while also offering services through Healing Haven Centers. With a commitment to holistic and compassionate treatment, Healing Haven Centers is a sanctuary where true healing begins.

Andy Harrison, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT

Dr. Andy Harrison is a U.S. Army veteran and licensed physical therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. He specializes in helping people regain their independence through skilled, no-fluff physiotherapy. As the founder of Orlando Physiotherapy, he uses proven methods to get patients fast relief and lasting results—often in just a few visits.
